New Pics from the past week....she's getting bigger!

We have had a great 3 weeks with Ms. Riley. She is not only getting bigger but she is really showing off her personality. Her Grandpa is already calling her a Drama Queen. She will cry at everything. Sometimes we do get the occasional tear though. We think she just likes to hear herself. We had our first real bath and we didn't like it one bit. Riley screamed the entire time. The 2nd bath was a calm experience and the 3rd we went back to square one....screaming. Over time she will learn to love them. The books say a nice warm bath is supposed to calm them. We are still waiting for that to come true. On Sunday, April 25th, Riley was baptized. It was a joyous event for us. Some of our friends came to the service to celebrate with us. It was very sweet of them. We have some great pictures to share with you all. Some are in the Blue Bonnets. We also have a picture we are going to take every month to see how much she grows. She will be taken with her Bear that she loves. Enjoy!

Today Riley is 6 days old. We are doing great. She is so much at ease now that we are home. Riley Christina Griffin was born April 7, 2010 at 8:02 am weighing in at 6lbs 10ozs 18 inches long and a head of hair. She has a beautiful face and a beautiful color to her skin. She looks just like her Dad. We had a rough time in the hospital with feeding but we are doing much better now that we are home. She did lose some weight but has now gained half of it back and we got a good report at the Pediatricians office Monday. I had my staples taken out Monday and toughed it out through the pain. Wasn't bad at all. She is perfect. Please enjoy the pictures of her birth and her first days.....

Today is April 6th and we found out that tomorrow will be the day to change our lives. Riley Christina Griffin will be born April 7, 2010. We can't wait to meet her. My blood pressure has gone up a little and we think the best thing to do is a c-section. It is scheduled for 7:30am. We are still trying to wrap our heads around the idea of meeting her tomorrow. We will soon be able to share her with you all.
